Founded in 1990 after the passing of Waterbury Firefighters Heriberto "Eddie" Rivera & Howard Hughes, the Rivera Memorial Foundation, Inc. has made a life-long impact on families and youth within the Waterbury community. The core of the organization's work lies in the continuous passion and dedication we bring through the range of programs the organization offers.

Making a Difference

After School Programs

The after school programming is available to Waterbury students in grades K-12 throughout the school year.

Summer Programs

Through our summer programming children are able to avoid the summer slide and gain new skills, knowledge, and friendships.

Sports Programs

The various sports program offer youth to not only develop their skills but be a part of a team of athletes led by experienced volunteer coaches.
